Sales Intern
Part-time ContractMelbourneFlexible, scales with the pipeline$30/hr
You'll work the enrolment pipeline: following up with families who've done a trial class, answering their questions, and getting them enrolled. These are warm leads, people who have already sat in on a class, not cold calls.
A clear no counts as a win here. An unresolved maybe sitting in the pipeline for three weeks is the actual failure mode.
Responsibilities
- Follow up with every family who completes a trial class, within 24 hours
- Answer parents' questions about the program and get them enrolled
- Keep the pipeline clean, so every family has a status and a next action
- Follow through on callbacks. If you said Tuesday, it's Tuesday
Requirements
- Comfortable on the phone with parents
- Organised enough to keep a pipeline straight and follow up when you said you would
- Clear written and spoken English
- A Working With Children Check. You'll sometimes be speaking to students directly, not just their parents. Don't have one? Apply anyway, we'll walk you through getting it before you start
Nice to Have
- You went to a selective or scholarship school. Parents ask what the process is actually like, and someone who has been through it answers that with credibility a script can't buy
- Sat EduTest or a selective entry exam yourself
- Any prior sales, customer service or front-of-house experience
