Class Schedule & Start Dates

Intakes run up until March 2027. Cohort 1 (July 2026) has closed. Cohort 2 starts Monday 14 September 2026 with the full weekly timetable and runs 40 weeks to the exam, and Cohorts 3 and 4 follow in January and March 2027. All cohorts run toward the same ~June 2027 exam, and the earlier you join, the more teaching weeks of preparation you get.

All weekly content classes, applied sessions (timed exam practice), and drop-in sessions (optional extra help) run online at launch, so families anywhere in Victoria can attend the same small-group sessions. In-person mock sittings are demand-dependent and begin ramping from January 2027 toward the exam.

Content classes are recorded and the Friday drop-in (optional extra help) is open to everyone, so a missed topic can always be picked back up. Big Brain also gives every student 10k+ on-demand practice questions and analytics between classes.

Yes. John Monash Science School (JMSS) and Elizabeth Blackburn Sciences (EBS) share the same Maths and Science content, so selecting both is charged at the three-subject rate once: only the extra English hour is added, never double-charged. The full-intake prepay price (paying upfront for the whole cohort) scales with how many teaching weeks remain until the June 2027 exam, so an earlier start is both more preparation and the better-value upfront deal. The start-date strip shows the weeks-to-exam for each intake.

Scholar — our standard weekly plan — covers all content classes for your target schools, applied exam sessions (timed practice), the optional Friday drop-in (extra help), the Big Brain platform, one practice exam and four human-marked writing tasks per month, and a monthly 1:1 consult. Accelerator — our more intensive weekly plan — steps these up to four practice exams per month, plus a fortnightly 1:1 consult. Practice exams run digitally via Big Brain until January 2027, when they move to in-person sittings. Extra in-person mock sittings are an à la carte add-on on any plan.
